Inclusion
An innovative approach to regeneration
Welcome to EOA
EOA offers both direct project delivery and consultancy. Having been
a highly successful local regeneration agency EOA now operates across
the UK and in Europe. Working with disadvantaged groups

EOA's specialism is working with groups which are disadvantaged by ethnicity, health, age and geographic location. EOA is able to access those groups which are not accessible to mainstream agencies. Inclusion therefore is a key part of EOA's work. For recent activity see:
EOA Review
Inclusion is a central plank of EOA's regeneration approach:
Transformative Planning (pdf format).
EOA believes that disadvantaged people are not a problem but part of the solution. Disadvantaged people have huge potential and huge knowledge. EOA believes in working with them to find both the answer and release that potential, this is the basis of EOA's approach. EOA specialises in participatory approaches, which it has developed from NGO approaches and applied to the UK situation.
EOA offers training and consultancy on how to release the potential in your community, as well as evaluation services.

Social capital
A key concept for EOA's approach is
that of social capital. The development of positive social capital is a
key tool in transformative planning. EOA believes that it is crucial to
develop all types of social capital - bonding, bridging and linking -
within disadvantaged communities to enable them to achieve their
potential. EOA offers training and consultancy on how to develop social capital and to use it in regeneration.
